For 4th of July, we went to Waco to visit our good friends, Jerod and Tara. They have two boys, Camden and Weston. Cole and Camden always have the best time together!! They played trains, basketball, soccer.... and the highlight of the whole trip for both of them was getting to watch Superman together before bed!! How cute are they :)))

We went to California with NaNa to go to my sister in law, Jen's baby shower at her Aunt's house in Dana's Point. It was a quick trip, but lots of fun. The house of Jen's Aunt Bonnie was absolutley beautiful!!! Chandler had a lot of fun being the center of attention and was a night owl the whole trip! I wouldn't call traveling with at toddler a vacation... but we still had a nice time. Chandler started walking the first day of our trip.... Go figure!!!!

The beautful table.... Saturday we had a baby shower in Burleson for my sister in law Jen.. She is having a baby girl that they wil call "Sadie". Cole is excited about the whole thing and kept calling Jen's shower "Sadie's birthday party", which is pretty much true! Cole also enjoys patting Jen's growing belly and saying "Sadie"! It's amazing to see that he understands that there is a baby in there and she will be arriving soon!!! We are so happy about this blessing and are looking forward to how much fun Cole and Chandler are going to have with their new cousin!!!

NaNa and PaPa got a motorcyle for the grandkids to enjoy at their house.... and of course, Cole loves it!!!! I have a feeling Cole will not be sharing with the "girls" (Chandler and little cousin Sadie that is on the way :))

This morning Riley came over to play and Cole wanted "Riley to sit on his lap ." Then he asked, "Riley, come sit in my bed!" I'm realizing more and more how rowdy my children are compared to others. Rile sweetly walked around playing with a doll and stroller, while Chandler and Cole went about the house screaming at the top of their lungs and getting into everything!!

For Cole's birthday GiGi and G-Pa got Cole his very first big boy bed..... It is sooo cool, with drawers and a cubby on the bottom! Cole is absoloutely CRAZY about it!! He ran around the house saying "It's my birthday, "It's my birthday!" With Bunk beds, Cole is almost ready for his first sleep over! We still have to put the ladder on, which ought to be interesting with the climbing :)) Anyway, what a wonderful thing for a 3 year old little boy to have in his room...

My great friend Kerri (and in some way cousin in law :)) ) came to visit the other day from Frisco, with her two boys Ryan and Andrew...the kids had a blast and of course, I always enjoy having girl time with Kerri!! She is such a wonderful blessing to me as a friend. While she was here she managed to get Cole to go "poo" on the potty for the first time AND give me a french manicure... If that's not a fabulous friend then I do not know what is!!!! Thanks Kerri for a great day :)))

Lunch Time

Great Grandma and Grandpa got Chandler a pink princess table for her First birthday.. I thought it would be nice to put it in the kitchen for Cole to eat lunch....Well, Miss Chandler wanted to sit at the table too! I was thinking she was a little too small to sit at the table by herself yet.... Guess I was wrong. Don't you just love the pic of her with half of her grilled cheese hanging out of her mouth... PRICELESS!

Just My Size

Chandler has recently discovered the pink chair in her room and she absolutely adores it! We brought it into the family room where she now spends countless hours climbing in and out of her chair, dragging her "baby doll" with her! Cole decided he wanted to have his frog chair downstairs now, so there you go! We have both chairs next to each other in the family room. Cole and Chandler like to climb in their chairs and watch Elmo together.. so cute :))

Chandler's Big Day!

Yesterday Chandler took her first steps... Aunt Amber, Zane, Aimee,and Claire came to visit for the afternoon and Chandler decided to stand up and try to take a few step! Amber just happened to get the whole thing on video.... how exciting!! We are so proud of our little girl. We have all been a little worried about her since she has been slow to reach her milestones.. but looks like she is catching up! Praise God!! Watch out.... we are about to have an official toddler running around... YIKES!
